Your Final Exam Assignment will be completing an individual power point presentation over a Women’s Health topic. Your submitted presentation will be worth 20% of your grade. I will begin accepting your power point presentations from April 12 through TUESDAY, APRIL 20 before 10:00pm. The last day for submission for your Final Exam PowerPoint Presentation is TUESDAY, APRIL 20 before/by 10pm.
you are a health care provider and have been invited to deliver the key-note speech at a professional women’s group centering on the theme of “Women’s Health.” Your audience of 20 persons varies in age from 25- 68 years old.
Your power point presentation will consist of 12-14slides. Each slide will contain lecture/participation notes located in the “Speaker Notes” area below each actual slide to supplement and expand examples which are located on your power point slides. The Speaker notes will consist of at least five sentences per slide. Speaker notes are the words you would say if you are delivering the presentation in class. (Just pretend you are presenting your Power point to our class and include what you will actually say in your Speaker notes. You are not simply writing the words or phrases you put on the slides, but will explain the information on the slides and add examples in depth. The Slides will contain the phrases/bullet points you insert to guide you with your presentation (use bullet points or short phrases).
You will select one subject pertinent to women’s health (Do not choose one of the essay subjects you already wrote about as a written assignment, during the course, nor HIV/AIDS as a choice, nor any other power point you completed for any other course. If you submit a power point taken from another course, you will receive a 0 for the grade as you did not complete work required nor researched a new topic.

Slides 2-8: Contain the following information:
Next Slide: Conclusion/ Summary (You will also discuss how this subject made impact on you in this section).
Last Slide: at least 4 references from reliable health sites/studies and 2 from the research studies (total 6 references) Provide full references which include the author’s name, journal name, year of publication, etc. If using a website, include as much detail as possible. DO NOT only provide a weblink, as this will not be acceptable.
Enter detailed (written complete sentences) information in the “speaker notes” (white space) below each slide to demonstrate understanding of topic (at least five sentences per slide). Do this for each slide except the title and reference slide
Contrast text and background color. Do not insert “moving animations”
Do not insert pictures which are from copyrighted sources as you do not have permission to use them. Use only pictures from “Yahoo art”. Do NOT use more than 3 pictures and they must be small pictures and not taking up the entire slide as it will make the ppt file too large to send
Please note: Lecture/ speaker notes are inserted below the slide. Speaker notes are what you would actually be saying if you are presenting this information in class. They are also known as speaker/ lecture notes. If you have questions how to insert speaker notes, please contact the HUB. Speaker notes do not go in the slide, but underneath in the “text area” below the actual slide in the “white space” area.
Slides contain only bullet points and abbreviated words. Do not routinely use sentences on the actual slides. Do not include too much detailed information on your slides as your audience will be reading your slides and not listening to you and it will give a cluttered appearance.
Select at least two research articles pertaining to your subject from the online library available through Clayton State. If you are not sure how to do this, please contact the school library. You will be explaining the two research studies in depth as part of your presentation.
